What's your biggest passion, and why?

I have a big passion for helping others, whether it's buying and selling real estate, volunteering and introducing others to the amazing different outreach programs in our community, or connecting friends and colleagues with others to help grow and accomplish their passions and goals.

What are your goals in your role at work?

I try to keep these simple and pertinent to each family I have the privilege of working with. I take pride in working just as hard on every transaction to ensure I am prioritizing their needs, keeping up to date on market trends and learning from every new obstacle that comes my way. I care for my clients, and the end goal is to build a trusting relationship with a satisfied client. The greatest compliment I can receive is a referral.

What are your goals in a role outside of work?

I love learning about different nonprofits and organizations in our community. Seeing firsthand how these programs benefit individuals interests me greatly. I hope to continue to learn about different organizations to give back where I can, and through this, I am able to make a small difference.

Tell us about an experience or memory that influenced how you see the world or what you want to do in life.

My mom got a job assisting a pastor in the early ’90s at a small, local church that not many had heard of. We started attending regularly and I became as involved as any second-grader could. Thirty years later, that church has become the largest-growing Lutheran church in the country, and I have grown so much with it.

What are your aspirations for the future?

As a wife and mother, my greatest aspiration is to make my family proud. My faith drives me in how I continue to grow my business, give back to the community and spread awareness of how others can get involved and give back as well.

What's one piece of advice you'd give to a young professional?

Don't take networking for granted. Get involved in your community organizations at a young age and give back when you can. Your life will only get busier, and if you put that work in early, it has the potential to open endless doors and lead to a very fulfilled future.

What is one thing you would like to see Central Iowa leaders address, and why?

I would love to see the smaller organizations and nonprofits get more publicity and have more resources readily obtainable.

What's one fun fact about you? I can juggle.

Hobbies: Golf, volleyball and cheering on the Vikings and Cyclones.

One word that describes you: Caring.

What is your favorite local restaurant? Simon's.

Name one book, podcast, movie or show you love. “Suits.”

What is your go-to activity to do in Central Iowa in the evenings or during the weekend?

Women's Golf League at Sugar Creek.

Is there anything else people should know about you?

I am very passionate about the nonprofit organization Mentor Iowa. The mission of Mentor Iowa is to provide trained volunteer mentors to abused, neglected and delinquent children who are under the jurisdiction of the juvenile court. We will do this by working in partnership with the children, their families and the community. For more information or if you would like to get involved, please visit mentoriowa.org.
